<\/p>\nOn Thursday 28 July, a round table discussion was held at the Haus der Bundespressekonferenz in Berlin on the challenges and new ways of classifying energy partnerships. The discussion focused on the threat of an oil price war between Russia and the Gulf States for Asian markets. The discussion was chaired by Dr. Thomas W. O’Donnell, an expert on global energy systems and renewable energy, and Mr. Mathias Br\u00fcggmann, a correspondent for the Handelsblatt newspaper.<\/p>\n
The discussion, moderated by experienced journalist Ewald K\u00f6nig, highlighted the potential impact and consequences of a price war on energy security, as well as the geopolitical implications between the two parties. It also suggested possible solutions and strategies to avoid these scenarios.<\/p>\n
