On 30 May 2023, the planned background discussion with Dr. Jörg Kukies, State Secretary in the Federal Chancellery, had to be moved to a larger seminar room at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel due to the high level of interest.
Dr Jörg Kukies, expert on finance and foreign policy, discussed together with Mr. Ewald König the challenges of the current geopolitical situation for Germany. He also gave an insight into the economic situation and explained why Germany is still an important location for foreign investments.
