On June 13, 2024, the Divan Centre Think Tank once again hosted a prestigious event in the Black Coffee series on the 15th floor of the Hotel Waldorf Astoria in Berlin. The guest was Prof. Dr. Daniela Schwarzer, a political scientist and member of the Executive Board of the Bertelsmann Foundation. Prof. Dr. Schwarzer is considered one of the most renowned experts in international relations.
In light of the current EU elections, Schwarzer provided valuable background information on global conflict hotspots, with a particular focus on the situation in Gaza and Ukraine.
Following the lecture, moderated by Ewald König, the interested audience had the opportunity to ask Prof. Schwarzer questions in a confidential setting. The event, held under the Chatham House Rule, was conducted in English and attracted numerous international diplomats, media representatives, and politically interested people from all over the world.
