On 5 July 2023, just before the summer holidays, we welcomed Mr. Ekkehard Brose, President of the Federal Academy for Security Policy, to our black coffee. Mr. Brose was as a diplomat stationed in Moscow for many years and worked for NATO. He was also Germany’s Ambassador to Iraq.
The discussion with moderator Ewald König focused on where Germany stands as a central European power and how the current geopolitical situation affects the security situation.
